So, I know I mentioned that I was going to be the thrifter of the year and find 150+ vintage plates for the wedding. Well, we went on our first plate-finding adventure and after visiting three thrift shops I had TWO plates. Then, I found a local vintage seller (Carver Junk Co.) who is renting me 150+ plates for $45. What?! Yes. Thank god I don't have to figure out what to do with 150 mismatched plates now. I think C is happy about this, too.
I suggested that Elizabeth add a pug brooch to her shop and she did. Holycuteness. I love it. (The rest of her brooches are amazing, too. I would like to go on a
shopping spree in her store! It's almost my birthday. Not really. Damn
it.)
The lovely Chandy of Ruby Sway Designs is making this dress (in
different patterns) for each of my bridesmaids. They are all going to
look so damn beautiful!
All of the Aranowski gals are quite creative if I do say so myself. They cook, knit, can vegetables, sew, etc. etc. My lovely cousin, Diane, recently opened an etsy shop and I am so proud of her! She is such a talented lady. Her shop is full of colorful, whimsical, and beautiful goodies - and they are SUPER affordable! I am in LOVE with this elephant. I know just the pregnant Mama-to-be to get it for, too (ahem, Beth).
What are you loving this week?
