Today Is the Day

Today, my friends, the Minnesota Senate votes at noon on the freedom to marry. Today, Cayla and I find out if we can get married legally in our home state. I have butterflies. My stomach is doing flip flops. I am so fucking proud of my state. Today is the day. It's happening.

  8. :D I am so excited for you (and all of Minnesota).

I'm still sad to stay both the state I am from and the state I reside in suck in this manor. It's sad to me especially since PA is one of the few, if only (depending on how you see NJ, technically it's not all there yet) north eastern states to not allow it.

  12. Hooray for both you and Cayla!!! Very very happy and excited for you gals as everyone deserves this right! Sadly PA is not there yet. Hopefully that won't always be the case.

Also - thank you thank you thank you for the DARLING baby boy clothes you sent over my way!!! You are the sweetest lady and opening the package and going through all the tiny pieces really made my day and has me even more excited for this little boy to get here! I seriously can't say thank you enough!

    Love ya lady! xo Marisa

  13. I'm late to the gate but I'm so happy you guys can make it legit!!! Unfortunately the Bible Belt is alive & kicking which means Virginia will be the last state to legalize it. Heck us ladies are still fighting to keep laws off our lady parts. Hopefully one day in the not so distant futture we can pass it & move on. :)
