Beauty Box: Nailed It!

Hey, lady loves! Guess who got a new camera finally?

And guess who can finally blog again?

Me and me.

So, I know I am very late to the whole Beauty Box game, but better late than never. When I saw that Target was offering them for $5, this thrifty mama signed up!

I had totally forgotten about signing up until the package arrived last week! (Mail that isn't a bill = makes my day!) I have to say that I was super pleased with what I got. A Gillette Venus & Olay Razor ($11), some great samples, including a L’Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream, which I've never tried, Fekkai Glossing Cream ($10), and Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips ($9).

The razor is awesome. It's like having shaving cream and lotion and a razor all in one. Love it.

The nail stickers were a bit intimidating, but it turns out they were easy as pie to put on. I did mess up one, but you get extras so it was no big deal. And, now that I've done it once, I think they'll look even better next time. I went to a wedding this weekend and almost every woman I talked to asked me about my nails and wanted to know where to get the strips!

Also, I am on day 4 and still no chips! Much cuter in person, I promise! oh and no drying time. Love that.

So, totally worth the $5 - if this becomes something Target offers, I will definitely sign up. I like the mix of full-size products and samples. These are definitely items I have thought about purchasing, so it was nice to be able to try them out at home for almost nothing! (Frugal friends, you feel me.)

Oh, and did I mention I got a Target coupon, too? Yep, they had me at magical-birthday-surprise-of-beauty-goodies-when-it's-not-your-birthday-but-you-can-celebrate-anyway because you-have-confetti-nails-sample box and a coupon.

Do you get any of these beauty boxes? I'd love to hear your recommendations!

xoxo,

S.S.

  4. I didn't realize that nail stickers could look so believable, haha! I must give them a try, 'cause I always do SOMETHING stupid when I'm waiting for my nails to dry. always. I like the idea of forgoing the nail-smudging disaster that always occurs.
