I Like You

The other day C and I went shopping for our friend's birthday and popped into one of our local favorites: I Like You. I could seriously buy EVERYTHING. But I didn't. I was really good.

I wore my thrifted housedress with the cute butterfly pocket when we went out shopping. I just love it. And you know me and anything with fruit on it!

Dress: Thrifted
Saltwater Sandals: Ebay
Tote: Everyday People ($5!)
Belt: Blacklist Vintage

We also hit up a few estate sales. I found tons of glassware for the wedding and this amazing vintage dress. I have asked for advice regarding how to clean it from my School of Vintage ladies. I expect it will be going in the shop soon. What I love about it is that it's not TINY. All of the vintage wedding dresses I've found are size 4 or smaller. I think this was custom made. Honestly, if I didn't have a dress, I could totally see myself in this.

Clearly I was excited!

Speaking of the wedding, everything is coming along! I ordered shoes but they arrived and sadly did not fit. I am on the damn hunt again! Invites have been sent and now we are just waiting for RSVPs! I can't wait to see all of my family and friends and celebrate. :) October can't come soon enough!

I hope you are all having a fabulous week!

xoxo,

S.S.

  1. I still find it hilarious that so many of us thought that was YOUR wedding dress on Instagram! It's still a lovely find though! I hope you find some wedding shoes soon! <3

  2. What a perfect summer day dress- it was meant for you! I have a weakness for anything with fruits on it too, but I guess any novelty pattern for that matter. Watching those RSVPs roll in is so fun! Hope you had a great weekend!

  3. I just adore the outside of that building! I love finding brick wall art. There is a lot of that here in Austin and I can't help but stop and stare.
